雪 / Snow

去年の大晦日から降り出し、今年の１月は雪一色。雪かきに明け暮れ、あっという間に１月が過ぎ・・・。
でも、けじめのある雪でしたね。１月３１日をもって雪終了。雪マークの並んだ１月は、晴れマークの並んだ２月にバトンタッチ。
今年の雪は、私の写真心(そんなのあったかな?)をムラムラとさせまして、写真を撮りまくりました。迷惑かとも思いますが、しばし私の写真コレクションで、名(迷)写真をどうぞ。先ずは、１月３０日。

This January started with snow, with no running buses for three days (I think they could do drive, but prefer drinking sake at home with a good excuse).　Snow has kept falling down with a few days of break for a month, but it definitely decided to stop on January 31 to give us sunny Feburuary. Thanks !
Snows , especially the last coldest one, aroused my artistic (?) sense of photography. Please enjoy or endure my photos for a while.

技能開発 / New Skill

１月は、雪かきと、そしてセメントの削岩作業に明け暮れる日々。ブログどころでは、と・・・・・。大変失礼、申し訳ありません。
ところでこの削岩機、知り合いの工務店さんに借りたものです。
実はうちの側溝の石垣には、醜く貼りついたセメントが。何の為にこんなものが分厚く塗られたのか、全く意味不明。でも実に醜い。多分市によって塗られたものと、市に除去をお願いしましたが、断られたので、もう自分でするしかない。いや~、大変でした。まるでマシンガンのように、ダ、ダ、ダ、ダ、ダッ ! 手は皮剥けだらけ。
でも、この就職難の時代。一つでも新しい技能を身に付けられた事は、実にすばらしい収穫・・・、と思って痛々しい皮むけを眺めています。

It's been snowing ever since the New Year's Eve, so I've been busy removing snow from around the house-----no time for writing blogs, he, he, he.
But on some days with no snow, I've been also busy removing the ugly thick cement from the stone ditch in front of my house, which is at least more than one hundred and fifty years old, built in Edo period.
I have no idea why the city put this ugly cement on those, at least to me, precious stones, with no explainable purposes. I asked the city to remove it, but with no result. So I did it by myself.
I borrowed this machin gun above, no rock drill, and just da, da, da, da,da !!! I 've now got a new skill, which I'm proud of, and smarting skined hands.

We are having white white new year's days, with chaos---no buses, very very few taxes.
Anyway, I finally made it home last night from my sister's house. Good relief !

大晦日 / New Year Eve

いよいよ2010年も、今日でおしまい。
朝起きると、外は一面の銀世界。壱年間の出来事を、ふんわりやさしく包み込んでくれる、純白の雪！
今年は、「松江かわら版」も立ち上げ、Ｈ・Ｐも開設。よし、よく頑張った！・・・と自分で自分を褒める私。あっ、もっと謙虚な姿勢が・・・。
本年は、本当にありがとうございました。また来年(明日からだなー)も、宜しくお願いいたします。

来客 / Guest

ふと見ると、ウッドデッキに丸まった小さな雑巾。 うぅん? 良く見ると、うずくまった小鳥。
余りにもじっとしてるで、死んでるの ? すると、ふとした拍子にこっちを。やれやれ !
でもこの小鳥さん、なぜか気だるそ～な様子。連日の寒さに参ったの ? それとも・・・鳥インフルエンザ ?　しばらくすると、何処かに立ち去りました。でも、あの訴えるような目が心に。元気に空を飛んでいてね。

There was something small, just like a small rag ball, on my deck. "What's that ? " It turned out to be a small bird. But it didn't move. "Is it dead ? Suddenly it turned to me. Great relief !
However, it looked very dull. "Have you got a cold after that cold wave?・・・Or, a bird flu ? "
Eventually the bird flew away. But its helpless eyes have kept me uneasy all day. I hope that bird is now flying high with fresh energy.

新兵器 / My New Wepon

久しぶりのプログになりました。あらっ、と言う間に日が過ぎて・・・。
さて私の新兵器とは、ジャーン、この新しいファックス・電話機です。前にもあったのは、子機が一つ。二階に子機を置くと、下は親機のみ。
何しろ編集長なので、取材に電話は要。で、下のオフィス(?)で電話取材中、のどが渇いた、腹減った～、なんて言っても親機じゃどうにもならない。そこで子機二台付きのを取り寄せ、買いました。
これが、いいですよ～。二階に子機を取りに走らなくてもいい。思った時に、気軽にホイッと子機を取り上げ、椅子にデーンと座って取材が出来る。えっ、そんなもの買って欲しくなかった? いえ、またお邪魔させて頂きます。

The above are my new wepons. One fax-telphone and two handy extentions. My old one had only one extention, and when I live in an apartment room in Yokohama, that was fine. But now I live in a two-floor house and I had to run upstairs to grab the extention whenever I needed to call up to collect materials for my "Kawaraban"(newsletter) as an editor-cum-writer.
I really needed another extention in my office, actually a small living room, on the firt floor, so I've got those, finally.
Now, I only pick up this small thing, and sit in my chair or walk around and occasionally pick up some snack from the frige while cornering someone with very serious questions for my next cover. Cool, isn't it ?
